Another late, and another brief write-up for this week!
Getting this out of the way, Who’s Nailin’ Jalen was the top scorer this week. Jake LaPres, today you are a rich man.
For this week, I wanted to take a quick peek at each Division.

Beta Fish
It should be no surprise to anyone that Woke Up and Chose Violence has returned to dominance in year two of their fantasy tenure. Two newcomers to Big League trail him at 3/2, but the points and divisional records tell the story. Chandler is getting comfy at #1.
Meanwhile, Game of Lan sits at the bottom with a 1-4 record, but the 3rd-highest points scored in the division. Look out for the Doctor to rebalance their blood pressure this season.
Turtle
A relatively stacked division when you consider that we have a multi-top-3 finisher in Dez, the reigning champion, Skid Marks, as well as the two co-commishes, myself (IR) and Matthew (Scrantonicity 8). However, it is MATTHEW who has come screaming out of the gate. One of three undefeated squads with the second most overall points to boot.
On the other end, you have me and newcomer unbelievably high. Will (high) at least has the excuse of fielding an all-MNF game. For me, I just suck this year. Don’t call time of death, though. A lot of game left!
Hermit Crab
Three teams sit up top at 3-2, a precarious lead. But it is ROB and the Pizzas who have a 60+ point lead on Luke and Peace. I’m so happy that Rob, an original Big League-er, is having his moment under the sun. Go all the way, I say!
Scrubbing the deck in this division is Pay Day Gray, who has been a dollar short and a day late this season. Grayson used to be a juggernaut in this format, but it’s been some time since the man has basked in glory. It will take a program turnaround to get back on track.
Gecko
The overall 3rd team in the league, but a once-and-future champ, Endzone Jones has his nose in the right place these days. 5-0 overall, 4-0 in division, and 670.7 points. The guy can’t miss. He’s also a solid two games ahead of 2nd and 3rd in the Gecko streets.
H-O-T-T-O-D-E-E-B-O may have needed an updated team name to keep up with the times. The 3rd fewest points in the league, tied-for-worst divisional record; you’d think they were tanking, but for what! However, let it be known this is not a stone-throwing diatribe; yours truly has the 2nd worst point tally, and I’m the other Divisionally winless team.
Guinea Pig
Here he is, the King of Big League ‘26-’27. I present Southport Skegs. Time to eat some crow, for I have ruthlessly mocked Colin for his somewhat brutish lineups. There isn’t so much polish or nuance as there is obviousness to it. But, hey, why overthink it if it works? This record and point tally alone probably guarantees Colin a playoff spot. So I should really shut my mouth.
It gives me no joy to observe this, but sagging at the bottom are our only two women in the league. bastards and Blitz can’t find momentum on a moving train. Claire (Blitz) is over 150 points behind Andie, so if they want to make any dent this season, they better start producing wins and FAST.
Frog
Talk about WIDE OPEN. Two wins and 59~ points separate bottom from top. In first by 22 points is the tongue-twisteringly named The Jacked Son’s Myth Enigma. However, that is a throne built on soft sand. The old king, Jake (Jalen?) is nipping at his heels and Up!!! Is not far behind either.
For that matter, the GOAT Sel is only a game back! And as for Kingpins and Historically, I have few words, except KEEP TRYING. If there were ever a winnable division, it’s this one!

That’s all I got for now! I hope this was a fun change of pace. Good luck on your matchups.
