Week 4 Write-Up (’26-’27)

Short write-up because I’m very busy today!

Highest Scorer: TheNuke 9 (168.88 points)

TheNuke benefitted from some career days from LaPorta, Kyren, and Tet, who all popped for 100+ points alone. Bummer for unbelievably high who sent JSN, Gibbs, Hubbard, and Rice straight to the garbage can in a 50+ point blowout.

Today, TheNuke wins $15 as the weekly top scorer. Jesse Perez, today you are a rich man.

Biggest Blowout: Jordan Loves Younghoes vs Beaver Blitz (87.74 points)

My autopsy is complete. Cause of death: autoroster. This mechanic, built for people who need a roster made with 0 brain power expended, is imperfect and we’ve never claimed that is such. Funny enough though, the autoroster summoned Amon-Ra to the field who did his best to combat the likes of an actual NFL roster. This lineup WAS beatable, so maybe Beaver Blitz wishes they tried a little harder here.

Closest Call:  Ward and Peace vs The Good Guys (5.52 points)

The Ravens D, Tyler Loop, and Braelen Allen all canceled out on this matchup. Kyren and Tet both popped off for big days, and the game really came down to the tight end position. Kittle got a late-game TD, and JuwanSon did great, but not enough to overcome the tiny deficit. Luke prevails, improving on the season.

Best Find:  T.J. Hockenson (24.9 points, played by TWO teams)

The former lion was targeted 13 times and caught every ball for 119 yards and 0 scores (although he could’ve had one!). This has-been was not on my radar, but was for Colts Fan & Riley Read. Colts Fan actually won by 24.98 points. Pretty tidy margin.

Biggest Bust: Josh Downs (4.6 points, played by ELEVEN teams)

Josh Downs just flat-out disappointed Sunday morning in London. In what should’ve been a smash-ola play, He went from tallying 37, then 72, then 77 yards to plummeting down to 16 measly yards – or 14.6 meters for the Brits. Considering how many points the Colts scored, this is abysmal, and it snake-bit 11 teams.
